NHAI-PIU Kolhapur Grants Toll Exemption for Satara Forest Department Officials

Kolhapur, 29.01.2024 – The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Kolhapur, has announced toll fee exemptions at the Kini and Tasawade toll plazas. This exemption is specifically granted to the Forest Department, Satara, including Foresters, Forest Guards, Range Forest Officers, Assistant Conservators of Forests, and senior officers above them. The decision aims to facilitate official movement, reduce travel expenses, and support conservation-related duties. Effective from 29.01.2024, the order has been issued under official directives and has been welcomed by the department for easing mobility across critical routes in the Kolhapur–Satara region.

1. Please find enclosed herewith circular received from Conservator of Forest, Satara Forest Division, Satara regarding Exemption of toll at Kini & Tasawade Toll Plaza.
2. In this regard, it is requested to take necessary action as per provision of Contract Agreement & Extant Policy guidelines of NHAI.
