power of inquiry to CBI Officer in Forest Conservation Act 1980, Circular Date- 11.10.2023

 NOTIFICATION
 
Date 11.10.2023
 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (25 of 1946), the Central Government hereby specifies the following offences whsich are also to be investigated by the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment, namely:-
(a) Offence punishable under "The Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980 (Act No. 69 of 1980)";
(b) Any attempt, abetment and/or conspiracy, in relation to or in connection witha bove mentioned offence(s) and/or for any other offence(s) committed in thec ourse of the same transaction or arising out of the same facts.
