As per National Highways Fee (determination of rates & collection ) Rules 2008, para 11 (b) (v) no fee shall be levied and collected from mechanical vehicle used for official purpose by "National Highway Authority or any other organization or person using such a vehicle for inspection, survey, construction or operation and maintenance there of ". In view of that Concessionaire has submitted undertaking that he will not collect toll from the staff of forest department."
